Frequently Asked Questions

The most important thing about what you wear is to pick something you feel comfortable and completely yourself in! These photos are about you and your loved one. For that reason, we don’t want the clothes to draw attention away from you. It’s best to avoid bright colours, crazy patterns, and logos, yet fitted clothes. I’ll give you a suggested colour scheme based on your session location.

Also, this is YOUR time for photos, so feel free to bring a change of clothes if you want to switch it up!

There’s no strict time limit on this. Sometimes I hop in the car with the couple to a further destination. Although, usually by the time we get there we photograph for about an hour or so.

If you’ve got an activity planned for this time, I’m more than happy to third wheel and join your date! Say you want to bike around town and then go to the beach for a picnic, I’m in! If you want to do a taco crawl, I’ll pull up a seat right beside you! Want to go bungee jumping? That I might pass on, but I’ll take photos of you holding each other close and screaming your heads off! Let me know what ideas you have, though I’d also love to dream up a fun date with you!

For each hour of shooting, weddings or engagment/couple sessions, it’s about 50-100 images per hour. When they are ready, I’ll email you a link to the online gallery! You can download and share for personal use!

Everyone is always so excited to see the photos, so I send out a sneak peek a week after the wedding. The whole gallery will be ready 6-8 weeks after the wedding. This allows time to go through to pick the best photos and edit them so they can be in your family’s memories forever!

I sure do! Ask me about that when we meet. (Also, this is a great time to be dropping hints to your wedding party to get this for you as a gift! It's the gift that you’ll always remember who got it for you and one that’s not often thought of.)

I require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot on my calendar. The next payment will be half way until your wedding and the remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your wedding. If you’d like to do more or less payments, I’m happy to accommodate your needs!
